Renovating or Extending?

aluminium-radiator-ireland-uk.jpgRenovating and extending your home has moved away from a touch of paint and new soft furnishings, to include the consideration of the energy use of the home. Do you find that a simple renovation is becoming a technical strategy due to the number of energy aspects to be considered? What insulation is best? Should I install solar panels? Should I use oil/gas or a renewable heating source?

Thankfully, Alurad have simplified one aspect of the decision making process for you. How to obtain a warm and energy efficient home without big ugly radiators!

Alurad will provide an efficient heating system

Alurad are a stylish alternative to large inefficient conventional radiators. They utilise approximately 80% less water and heat up 4 times faster. Such responsiveness enables cost savings through greater heating control.

Alurad are stylish

The fist item many renovators wish to remove from their rooms are the large white radiators that take up too much space. You can replace these radiators with a much smaller Alurad which will still heat your room perfectly. Perhaps a low radiator for under a bay window, or a tall vertical radiator for a kitchen/dining area. With 25 colour options and 12 model options to choose from, you can custom design your Alurad to suit your interior design needs.

Alurad allow for easy installation of more efficient systems

The condensing boiler is the choice of many today, and due to the lower operating temperatures, Alurad are a perfect partner for this system. In addition, many renovators are eager to install a low temperature heat source such as a heat pump, or solar central heating. Such systems will not work effectively with standard steel radiators. The simple installation of Alurad will enable you to adopt such systems with little mess or fuss. Also, choosing Alurad now will enable you to progress to such systems in the future.
